My Ride: 2007 525i Black/Black Sport, Prem, 6M, Sirius

Hello-

I'm selling the used Run Flats off of my 525 sport. The tires have about 32000 miles on them, but would make a great summer set or spare pair. They are 245/45 R17 stock Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Run Flats.

Let me know if you are interested, the tires are in great shape. I'm not looking to make much money off of them, so make me an offer. The tires retail for almost 300 dollars each.

Thanks,

Josh

32,000 miles on run flats...they dont usually last that long. I agree w gregg2gs...but bald as an eagle may be putting it mildly

I can believe him- I'd like to know how other members are wearing their runflats- mine have 25k and still "look" to have >80% tread- in fact one of the rears (275/18) was replaced at 12K and I can't really tell the difference. I haven't measured exactly the tread depth but it's very substantial and when freshly hit with Armor-all they just look new... I commute 30 miles a day of windy backroads along a riverbed and really drive them. They are started to get some noise, but not as bad as my previous 5'er with Conti's at 20k.

I was going to get out of them when worn and replace with PS2 or something- but I wonder now...

Others?

Sorry I wasn't clearer:

Two of the tires that were on the rear are pretty new and have over 90% tread left. The two that came off of the front have quite a bit of life in them 6/32'' of tread left.

PM me or reply to this forum if you are interested, but these tires still have a lot of life in them!
