Im not sure what CDC means, but Mp3 ready should refer to your CD player, which has nothing to do with the NavTV. This basically just adds an AUX interface to your stock nav screen. You hit the remote, its flips from the normal "BMW I-Drive Screen" to the AUX multimedia input. You can then add inputs such as aftermarket nav, tv, dvd, computer, cameras etc. You control everything from that remote. When you are done with the AUX, just hit the remote again and it will flip back to the stock "BMW I-Drive Screen". And as stated before, you do NOT need stock Nav for this to work. I'll look around regarding the CDC...
