I originally purchased this from a memeber here (SoCalBimmer)
https://5series.net/forums/index.php...opic=81096&hl=
Another post of the same unit can be seen here https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=43594
Basically after a few weeks at my shop and a few hours on the phone with the manufacturer, there is no way for this unit to work with the new updated 8-way idrive (started in 09). So this is in perfect condition and boxed up ready to ship.
Looking to get what I paid for it, so $200 + shipping
Thanks,
Raj

I think it will work without nav, but I'll look into it. Maybe someone on here can chime in. My gut feeling is that it will work. (even though the name of it is NavTV lol)

Buyer decided to lowball. Still for sale at $205 shipped.
I also checked it will work with cars without nav. If you wanted to add aftermarket nav, this is the module for you! AV input can be used for anything! Carpc, nav, cameras, tv, DVD, etc

To use this device, does our cars need to be CDC and Mp3 ready or equipped?

I'm not sure. I haven't played around with it since I never got to install. Maybe PM SoCalBimmer. I know he had it installed before me.
