Your Logic7 system has all the speakers outputs at the trunk OEM amp -the OEM amp inputs are digital. Therefore the trunk sub harness without the LOC will help you install all this without cutting the OEM harness, no other harness needed.

Just summing the outputs may be not enough, you need both the summing and the actual Cleansweep to sum and de-EQ the Logic7 signal so you can start with a flat, full range, low level signal for your amps/processor.

I was under the impression that all the audio was transmitted to the amp in the rear via the most system. I see you have the amp harness so I figured that was the only harness I needed. I have the idrive radio with no navigation with L7. You stated that the top end is feed from the "head unit", is that true in this case?I am looking at feeding signal to the summing module, doing processing, and amplifying then sending the door speaker feeds back through the factory wire. I have found this to be the most reliable for door penetrations, and being 4's they won't require much power. My question I guess is do I need more than your amp bypass harness, and if so, do you know anywhere I can pick up the deck harness as well, since you stopped making them. I prefer to not hardwire the system.

System I have:
2 Jl 12 W7
2 Jl hd1200/1
2 Jl hd 600/4
Epicenter
Par650
Haven't decided on speakers that fit yet.

Setup to run 4-way.

Newly signed up, so I don't have PM capability.... not sure if I can recceive one from you.

I'm not sure why I haven't run across this prior, and need just such an adaptor to (cleanly) incorporate audio into my e38. WOuld you be so kind as to contact me at dmartinez@c0stco.c0m (substitute o for zero), so we may discuss if this might work?
Thanks,
Dan

This harness will not work in an E38... the connector is different.

Hi Technic,

Do you have a solution like this one for the E39 M5? I just picked up a 2001 M5 with M Audio. Its ok but the bass is sorely weak. On the M5 board, the concensus is the stock amp is the bottleneck. So I'm wondering if you can build a harness for the E39 M5 that taps the signal of the original harness to feed a separate amp to power the M Audio subs. That might just do the trick to add more bass, the rest of the system is pretty good. If you do get a solution, there is a whole forum waiting for your business. LMK.

BTW, I love your PnP harness for the E60 M5, works perfect and very happy with the set up.

If you post a photo for those E38 OEM amp connectors (female and male) I could check if they are available...
