I have been using an IBM T30 for coding because I take things too literal and thought I needed exactly this computer to use NCS and other programs. I realized with time I didn't so I moved to using an XP install with Parallels on my Mac.
So recently I bought a hard drive from a guy in San Diego that has DIS V57 and SSS V41 with TIS that is intended for the T30 and works flawlessly. I bought a used OPS a little while back and had hoped to use this as an alternative to the dealer for module replacement and whatnot.
Well it turns out the software on all 3 of my cars is too new to be used with SSS, and while DIS works fine, I just don't see the need to sit on all of this just for a diagnostics computer.
The OPS is a china clone with orange head. It also works fine, but you need to have a power supply connected to the car when you use this. The MOST cable that came with the OPS was a real pile of junk so I rebuilt it with OEM BMW MOST optical fiber and made it shorter to eliminate any problems with the notoriously weak LED's in the china heads. Since I have done this I have had zero issues with dropped connections.
This is a complete set-up and comes with all of the cables you could need.
Asking $640 for everything plus shipping and paypal fees.
Let me know if you have any questions. I don't know a whole lot about these programs, just bought them out of curiosity and unfortunately cannot use them.
