Neutral on MMI (not fond of Idrive either):
"We're not a fan of Audi's Multi Media Interface (MMI), the company's answer to BMW's I-drive. We rather strongly feel there is nothing to be gained by making simple tasks into multi-step activities, especially when single function knobs, buttons and switches have done the job for years."
Prefer the 5 Series:
"Despite all this, the Audi is a great road car. But the competition here is stiff, and if we were in the market for a car in this price range, we would be drawn more closely to the BMW 5 series, the Caddy STS or Audi's brilliant S8 Cabriolet (one of our favorite cars)."
