My Ride: 2005 545i, Orient Blue, Black Interior, Sport Package, Satellite
On my primary criteria (power, responsiveness, handling, road feel) the Acura would not be on top. But Edmunds is almost like Consumer Reports in that they look for overall value. In that dimension, the RL comes loaded with everything-- great Nav, great DVD audio stereo, AWD, cold weather pckg, power everything... whereas to decently equip an E60 you have to buy lots of options at high prices. I'm not saying I like the RL, but for the average joe who wants to spend $45K, its OK.
