They have more or less stopped production of the 6 cylinder Z4 and they won't start again until 2006. I would imagine that this means the new 6 cylinder engines will be fitted and I guess potentially a facelift as well as the car must be almost at its midlife.
ANd don't forget the coupe version will be out next year as well.

I've seen some computer images of the facelift that is coming. It looks fantastic (less extreme although)

Car and Driver says the N52 is coming, along with a Z4 hardtop coupe. They have a picture that looks like a spy shot in the current issue but I can't find the image online. Looks nice.
