I too, like my cabrios with soft top, done the way BMW, and Audi do them with the one touch button and hidden under hard cover. However, I understand the reasoning for Hard Top Cabrios in a performance car to get that stiffening effect on the chassis. There used to be a weight penalty to do this however, so I am hoping BMW is doing the right tradeoffs. So far from what I've seen I like this Cabrio so far. Looks like the three piece is being done to help save storage (trunk) space?
