A Lexus dealer told me that the only reason they gave 3 series the first title is because of its chassis. Then again hes a car dealer working for Lexus.

OK - I have to respond to that last article.
The person who wrote it is an idiot (sorry if anyone knows him/her)/
What is with the cupholders? The author is the type of person who worked for GM and now why they are going out of business. Who cares how it drives if is has lots of cupholders.
And the fact that he is proud of the fact that you can do everything in the lexus without the manual. Can you imagine spending 40K+ on a car and not having to read the manual.
Oh - and if convenience is what makes cars better than BMW's then watch out - there are some great mini vans out there.

Anyway, IS looks just like Japanese Sonata version both front and rear.

Now if we could only combine German driveability with Japanese usability, we'd have the perfect car.

First off, I think the IS350 is a wonderful car. Period.

But...I read on another forum where owners are now getting insurance quotes that are a bit out of this world.

Quotes like :

IS350 1700+ a year
IS250 998/6 months
IS350 900/6 months (38yr old male, clean record)
IS350 740/6 months
IS350 806/6 months (27yr old male)
IS350 1350 yr

Something is not right on how they have the Lexus rated. Something to consider when making this decision.
