Is that price more expensive than the current 3-series ?

Prices are between ?200 - ?600 more depending on the model but I'm told that the standard fit equipment has improved considerably making the cars actually cheaper. I was told that BMW has learnt its lesson from the launch of the E60 in the UK where the new models were significantly down spec'ed compared to the outgoing E39. This, coupled with initial hostile reaction to the design, caused sales to have a slow start.
