My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Picking it up on Friday. I'm still keeping the E60 for the next 4 years. I still love the E60 but I really missed the lower stance and tighter handling of the 3er. The E60 will be my wife's main car and will also be the car to use on long trips. I hope I'm not betraying the brother/sisterhood.......
It's a 2008 CPO, 328I CV, Sapphire black, 40K on the clock, and I specifically looked for (and found) one with an iDrive since I'm so used to it now. Even though it's not a 335I, I can still squeeze a lot of speed out of 230 horses.

My Ride: 02/2006 525i Titanium Silver Metallic
Manual 6-Speed
Nice choice, that is a sharp 3! Glad you kept your E60 also!
I've got a feeling the E60 won't be the only one to get used for road trips

Thanks guys, I, too, have a feeling that the E60 won't be the only one for long trips.
As for modding, I'm an old-fashioned type who tries to keep his cars as stock as possible. Modded the heck out of my 911 and, although sweet, it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
I'm still against RFTs, but since these tires are brand new, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and evaluate them for a while before replacing them with regular tires, if ever. Is it true that you get the low-air warning permanently when switching to regular tires?
