I understand completely Gene!! Yes, there is a really cool 3-D perspective view that shows major builds etc. I suspect major cities like LA and NY have it but New Orleans does not 
. Still playing but you can also view the navigation map in a Google earth view. CA said at times it may not keep up as you drive so I'll have to play with that one..
