My M3 has arrived at the dealer!! 
While I am extremely excited about picking up my new car tomorrow, I am also a bit sad at turning in my 550. What a great car! In fact both E60's were awesome, never had a breakdown or any mechanical issues despite buying an 1st year E60. Just routine maintenance and a very minor (software update) recall on the 545. I can only hope my M3 experience is as care free. My delivery is tomorrow evening so pics will come later this weekend but they will come...

I did Gene but no joy! I drove by to see if it was visible but the car must have been in the service department getting prep'd. However, as I approached the dealership a new white E92 M3 pulled out of a gas station. Had no plates, the tow hook plug was still missing and it had other protective materials on the exterior. Either a service tech was testing the car or they were putting some gas in it. Either way, he gunned it down the street! Not a redline type acceleration but certainly was flirting with the 5,500 rpm break-in limit!! I had visions of my new M3 being treated like this... 
That's my job! 
Wonder if I can get 1,200 miles in this weekend and have the break-in service done...
