Just put my name on the list at my dealer. Not certain I want it but I want the option. It will be between that and a 550i sport. I'm leaning more towards the 5 but I still want the option available to me. No deposit necessary right now. He did tell me that as they get closer to the time, they may require one. NICE.

Did the dealer tell you what number you are on the list? I am always skeptical that dealers will "sell" higher spots at a later date. With a number, you can figure the approx. wait time based on monthly dealer allocation.

I am number 6. Also, he just told me I will have to give a $500 deposit but its fully refundable. I'm in.
