Does the record indicate if the second replacement pump was done as part of the recall? If not, the pump may have only been replaced with another original pump that can go bad. It would be best if the pump were replaced as part of the recall with the newer pump that comes with an extended warranty on the part...

Vorsteiner offers some really good parts. Their parts are carbon fiber and are top notch, I see them at car shows all the time (detriot, toronto). I purchased a hood from them and it is amazing, and they also offer M3 styled bumpers.
If you are an enthusiast you should know about Bimmian.com. They sell BMW modifications and they carry Vorsteiner.
If you want expensive but amazing performance parts go with DINAN. If you get enough off their point system, you can have a certified DINAN car which is intense!
