See I don't think I got an iPod cord. I know that there's the USB plug in the center console but I don't recall getting a cord. Problem is I got the car from an out of town dealership too.
Secondly, the 528i requires Premium also. I know I'm going to use the required fuel but I was just curious if what the sales guy said about a warning light on the dash was correct or not. I know that there is no such thing and that I would only feel the loss of power and/or ping in the engine if anything less than 91 is used.

I can't believe I've had this E60 for 8 weeks now, I still haven't gotten my license plates yet (knock on wood) lol

Thanks hehe. I'm not going to have the front plate drilled on unless I get a fix-it ticket. I've had the GX470 for 6 years now and it's never had a front plate

I'd guess that the recommended octane is 91 (premium) but 89 would be probably OK in a pinch. I would not use non-premium grades on a regular basis. You shouldn't get any lights on the dash but the computer will retard the spark and give you less power.
PS: Congrats and enjoy the new car.

Ya I'll definitely have to check back with them. It's not a big deal but if you pay this much for a vehicle then the iPod cord should be free. lol. I just haven't gotten around in doing it because I don't drive the e60 that much. hehe
Break-in miles sounds really nice right now. We've had the thing for 8 weeks now and I don't think it has 500 miles on the Odo yet hehe
