Haha thanks but I have a feeling this e60 is staying stock till it leaves my garage for good  It's mainly the parents car and the 00 CRV is really mine, but I'm always on the forums trying to see if there's any TSB or what not going on with our cars. Or if there's any cool simple and subtle mods I can do then I may do something to my 528i.
Regarding the color, we didn't have a choice actually! lol. I know my parents would have gotten white but since we were trying to avail of the 09 clearance, they only had the Space Gray Metallic available so that's why we ended up with this. Otherwise my parents are addicted to white cars..
With the exception of my Gold Honda CRV SE

Hehe
The two aren't "getting along" yet because the GX has always been used to having a Japanese brother with her but now she has to get used to a new "race" (in car terms of course)...

Congrats on your new car, enjoy the forums, and SORRY for what E60.net will do to your wallet!!
I agree congrats on the new car and yes, now that you've joined expect your new car to demand more of your money than your children do. (my list of mods grows by the day - too many projects too little time)

Lol. thanks guys. So far I might be able to discipline myself since I rarely mod a luxury car. The GX470 has no mods on it, and we've had it from day 1 back in 03. My feeling is that the same thing will happen with my 528i but who knows..

Hey I have a couple dummy questions. Sorry but I haven't had the time to really experiment with the car fully.
First off, the sticker says I have an iPod adaptor, but where is that located at? I've looked in the glove box and center arm rest and I don't find it.
Second, can the windows be rolled down using the remote?
Third, my dad told me that the sales guy said that if (theoretically) any grade of gas lower than 91 was placed that there will be a warning on the dash telling me that incorrect fuel was used? Is that true?
Fourth, I have the crummy ContiTouringContact tires, generally how long is the life of these tires? (mostly city, still mixed with a little highway)
thanks and sorry if I have ridiculous questions to ask

With respect to question number 1, the Ipod adapter in my 2009 E60 is a USB port located in the bin under the center armrest in front. Plug in your Ipod into the USB port (they should have given you a little wire to connect your Ipod) and it is good to go.
With respect to fuel, always use the grade recommended in the owners manual as that is the grade that your engine was designed to use. For my 550, it's premium only. I have no idea what it is for a 528 although the owners' manual should tell you.
