That would be like an E900!! (I'm good at arithmetic.)

Does anyone know what the driveways are like at any of the stops for the meet?
Specifically the Starbucks in Long Beach, and the Fry's in Woodland Hills.

Imagine 15 or so E60's angling in and out of each driveway......
I'm thinking dropping the car a little more before the meet.

TTT

So I was talking to Nerweezy today and we discussed about the caravan. Since ~20 cars are going be caravan-ing to SLO, before we go, we should divide into 5 groups. In each group, there must be someone with a radar detector. The leader must drive responsibly (you can have fun though) so we won't lose any members.

For rest/gas stops, since we will be driving for about 300 miles, one pit stop sounds reasonable. **Will this work out good Eko with your m5?

Anyone has their own input to my idea?

PS: PLEASE BE PROMPT TO THE MEETING PLACE. in LA, we will be leaving at 8:20 max

Because with a large caravan like that, you'll bound to lose people even just getting across one stop light. You'll still all ride together on the freeway but if you have small subgroups, it's easier to manage getting in and out of exits if people follow their lead/pack.

Got it! Thanks Tony - the group caravaning on the freeway sounds like big fun. Can't wait.

Exacto-mundo.

Ive been to previous meets and we lost people just on the normal street. Since we are going at a faster speed, splitting into groups is smart

I think also, 'cause it's illegal to caravan with more than 5? CHP may do their thing...we've just been lucky so far with all our meets. I've heard of bimmerfest pull-overs.

I've never heard of that until someone mentioned it earlier on this thread. Is it true?
