Hey guys, I had a lot of fun. Hopefully on the next meet I'll get my brother and some friends to come with their E60's. Nice seeing all the nice rides, and I especially enjoyed Icemans Exhaust and Brian's 550i. Well Im gonna be posting the pics in the next post So Hope everyone had a great time.

It was great meet! Too bad the waitress was couldn't get us our food for like 4 hours...hahaha. Someone post pics of after lunch since I had to leave early. Everyone was pretty kool and it was nice just seeing all those e60's together.

You know...those of us that had to drive farther had the most fun!! The drive up the mountain was very fun, but the the sprint up to Mt. Wilson that only half the group made is what made this trip worthwhile for me!! That was one badass-fun ride!! Anyone that has never pushed their E60 a bit doesn't know what they are missing...this car was made for twisties!! The only bummer was that half the group didn't get to make that sprint.....oh well, next year! And what was with the Honda that wouldn't yield to 21 E60s??

I thought Jason was going to pass out from starvation......the food was good...the service......NOT SO MUCH!! Oh well, that one waitress was entertaining....and I guess some people do like their water glasses coated with old mayonaise!!

Great to meet all of you....this SoCal meet totally debunks the rumor that the 5-series is an old man's car since I'm pretty sure I've got anywhere from 10-20 years on all you youngsters....at 46, I was sure one of you would start calling me gramps.....besides my old age I might have had the only "stock" car there....Well, I did invest the $25 for the red reflectors!!

I'll post a few pics that Eric couldn't post since he missed going up to the Observatory! Great run...let's do one again soon......however, being on the Central Coast......Orange County/Irvine seems....well......too south!! See, what I'm thinking is we do one on the Central Coast, and we get the NorCal folks as well......AND I can think of lots of places for the initial meet where parking is NOT a problem, and NO door dings!! I saw that happen too, Hollywood! It was fun to see everyone's rides, and what they have done with them....maybe when I'm not paying for two college educations anymore, I can try and catch up with you all!!

And thanks to Wendell (did I get that right?) for getting the pastries, etc., and Jiio, I hope you now know ALL of our names.....I wore my florescent yellow post it note all the way home just for you!! Someone needs to take the group photo and put names with the faces.......I'd do it, but I'm too old, and both my memory and my eyes are not so great!!

Here's a few pics:

Nice meeting you guys today for the run I had a blast busting my tires on them nice tight turns up Mt. Wilson. We should have another meet like this but this time a PCH run from Malibu to OC cooler temps would be great. Big ups to all you guys nice, friendly and talkative unlike the other meets I go to.

Ya I'm bummed that some of us missed that part. Too bad I didnt catch it in time by the time I realized we went waaay past Mt. Wilson road already and I wasnt able to get the lead of the group to turn back. I was looking forward to taking pics there too... And that road that leads up to the observatory... That is a GOOD road. Oh wells until next time...

I'm very glad you were able to join us all the way from San Luis Obispo. Hope your drive home wasnt that bad. Pleasure to meet you. and everyone else too of course. Its just that because you and my530i drove so far to the meet it made it extra special. Were you two the furthest ones?

I see today that there are some converts to the 166 rims. Now that Blackonblackonblack, EBMCS03 and TBlax545i have seen it in person they're sold.

Also, by unoffical count I think there was a total of 26 e60s there. 10 where misled by hollywoodtrash whereas the other 16 knew the way up to the observatory. That is what you 9 folks get for following hollywood, LOST!

I'll post my pictures soon. Look for them in the Meet and Greet Gallery.
