Count me in if my 545 makes it in on time off of the Grus.

Welcome to the site SveaRike,

I hope you can make it as well! When do you anticipate receiving the car? And don't forget to register on one of the later threads. We're trying to get a count.

Me again, did you already pay for the wheels to be chromed. You may want to read a previous thread about problems some people have been having after chroming their wheels. I hope someone chimes in with what the problem was...but I remember it was not an insignificant thing.

B-on-B,

If that western corral place doesn't workout, there was a nice place to stop about midway on that drive you took. Not sure of the exact location, but I believe it was right before the last winding set of twisties. Not quite scenic, though the brush may have turned green, but a place to stop and rest at least.

I'll try that funky house one more time before the Meet and try to get my guts up to ask permission for a photo shoot. Otherwise, anywhere on the drive will be fine. I forgot to mention that the rear parking spaces at Ralphs has 20 spots on one side and 20 directly opposite. If we even fill one row...would be great. I think this should work out. I also figure, since the manager changes daily, that we just ask the manager that morning for permission to park in the turn-around area for a semi-circle shot.

You can't expect my wife to sit on the curbside taking a bite of sandwhich like the guys did back in high-school outside of gas-n'-sip on a Friday night. This concept is not going to fly with any wife/girlfriend.

Having said that I will try to bring my wife (as always) and I will blurr out the gas-n'-sip part. I suggest you all do the same.

cheers,

beewang

I have done quite a few ED , and unless you have a friend that works in VPC, you will not see your car for a week after the meeting based on MS Grus port of call schedule. I would suggest that you plan to attend without the E60 (provided if you don't have an inside connection at VPC).

cheers,
