Not so plain. The black kidney grill makes it look mean. A Dinan sleeper!

Jet, that's my car right there behind the CLS. I didn't get to meet you and I was looking around for a black 550. I guess I got distracted by that model chick in the Eurobanh booth If you need anything for your car, let me know man =)

Have you decided on your next car yet? The new M3 or GTR would be great, but I think I'd take a used 997S, 996TT or 996 GT3 for roughly the same price.

The question should be have "YOU" decided on your next car. You as in heezy. What are you rolling up to the Malibu Meet in?

^I'm rolling in a 5-series....what else.

Did you ever change out your differential? I was reading up on some things and I think you should go with the 3.9 final drive. The 3.9 will work well in either NA form or with the VF SC if you ever decide to go that route. I'm assuming VF uses the vortech blower though.

^Oh and I saw the thread that Chris posted up about the headers and sport cats.

Do you have high-flow cats or straight pipes with your RD sport exhaust? The straight pipes will probably be cost efficient and give you some good power in the upper RPMs. That 100 octane gas is killing your cats anyhow.

Just a x-pipe and dual silencers. No headers, cats, nor straight pipes. Too much $$$$, at least for the headers and cats.

I ran torquey5 who has straight pipes. He pulled on me harder than all the other 550is I've ran.

I'm sure Darwin's a good guy, but install the intake yourself. It should be rather simple and save you install costs.

Yeah, headers and whatever else is expensive, but straight pipes are cheap. It's literally two free flowing pipes that replace your cats. An exhaust shop should be able to fab it up for you rather cheap. I'd say $200 tops. If you don't like it for whatever reason, putting your cats back in will probably cost $50 or so.

And is the 545/550 SC on the back-burner again. The VF SC for the e46 M3 is already out isn't it, as I've seen a few cars with it installed already.
