YES! I wanted to ask the guy to let me ride along. I was ready to pull out a $50 if needed be

I kept thinking of why he wouldnt want to run there. Maybe the grass, or the surface?
I tell you why, he would probably get beat by either e63 or M5 or both Again may be not. I once ran my SL55 against Ferrari 360 and my SL beat it. So I would assume that E63 and M5 would beat this Ferrari.

The expressway is smoother than the airfield. If we're talking about a surface concern, though. I cant think of why he wouldnt want to run. If only to hear that V8 scream.

Maybe but I mightve had the same problem because of my shifting inexperience, and I didnt run head-to-head with anyone.

We should do rolling starts next time, it would eliminate driver launch capability from the equation. Start about 100 yards from where we usually launched today and let them rip at that point. Should be interesting.

Haha yea it was like that. I can imagine the sight that gregg had from the rearview mirror.

Yep, we should do that. It is really hard to launch e63 from the digg (at least for me) E55s are even worse -- lots of torque down low and ESP is too intrusive. Every time I launched I got ESP on and power loss. I can never get it right, need some practice in launching.

Gregg - Are those the only pictures you took of my car in action? That's it?!?!?! Hahahahahaha!

Kerry - I'm just busting your balls. Hahahaha! Don't worry about it. I polished the crap out of it, so it looks like new again. I'm taking it to Parts & Polish this week, to have the sensor swapped and then it will be back to normal.

Albert - I guess my driving skills are pretty good then. Although I will say this...keeping my tires from spinning from a dig is practically impossible. On one of my races with Kerry and I to stop and restart because of the wheel spin. My rear tires are worked!

When are we doing this run again? Next Sunday?

When are we doing this run again? Next Sunday?

C- I', down for next week. Wouldlike to do a Saturday if the weather permits. As long as temps are in the 40's/50s and its sunny...I'll stay in shorts, even though it was 39 degrees today...Holy cow you guys left me out there with the video camera for sooooooo long....Frooze my arse off...Also, the sun was directly behind me and I couldnt see the freakin TV screen...I was so paniced (as Christian said before) when I heard the roaring of the engines, that I started to shake the tripod and get the zoom in. Next time, 3 DVD video cameras at the beginning, middle and end of run. That will be awesome. Let Kerry or Ralph edit (Tech pros) and we have the best damn video ever!

I have to get a VIPER one day...
