Scott, THANKS again from Sasha and I - we had a blast. Still don't know how you got the weather to play along, but it was an awesome run
Serously, I have discovered a LOT about my car on this drive. About my driving ability too, actually
Even though there were six of us, running on the Sixth of June no troubles - just a couple of scares

Here're a few pics - we didn't really have a chance to touch anything up yet, though. More to come...

Vlad:

Victor and I really liked meeting you and Sasha. Thanks to both of you for being so nice to my Victor.

You kept up quite nicely with the 550s and the M5 despite the huge power difference so that says a lot about your driving abilities.

Can't wait to see the rest of the many pics Sasha took.

I enjoyed the drive so much, I might hold it again for the many folks who could not make it on June 6th.

She was good the whole way home. Thanks for asking. How was the last run through Harriman? Had a couple of triple digit runs. Dynolicious says I averaged .69g in the turns.
The Harriman twisties (County Route 106) were a lot of fun. They are very different from (and safer than) Snow Hill Road as the corners are not as blind or as sharp or as off-camber. But still a blast. They also are not as long as Snow Hill Road.

THIS WAS THE RUN OF ALL MEETS! I did 371 miles in total yesterday...Bayside Queens-Poconos-Milford-NJ-Harriman park-Bear Mountain-TORCHES (Dinner)-Taconic Parkway for 46 miles with 3 motorcycles at 120 all of the way...

In all seriousness, this was incredible and all due to SCOTT-SDG1871...I had the vision and he planned and executed on it. GREAT TEAM! You are now welcomed and an Official PROVEN member of the "Set-up an awesome meet"for E60s.

I think yesterday proved what our cars are capable of (By the way, 2 550i stuck with the M5 on the twisties) of handling beyond our expectations...I AM VERY FORTUNATE NOT TO HAVE GONE OFF THE ROAD INTO THE TREES AND ROCKS! MY BMW SAVED MY LIFE AND CAR!

Can't wait for the pics...We need to start a new thread...
Thanks Gregg. It was great to set up this meet with you. You can really drive.

And yes, thankfully you and your ride recovered from a near wipe out. (I did not see it because I was in front).

Snow Hill Road is one hell of a roller coaster ride. We'll have to plan on a meet with even wilder roads in the future. And I've got ideas about that. Stay tuned sports fans.

That sucks about your wheel.

New wheels in the offing?

I'm down with doing the meet again with any folks who want to try it out. A lot of members PM'ed me and told me that they could not do it on June 6.
