I will say this...the Yanks pitching hasn't been this good since the late 90's, so if there was ever a year to really have a shot, this would be it. I'm feeling pretty good this year and I think most teams that do make the playoffs are worried. Our more recent playoff appearances haven't been stellar and I wasn't very confident during those times. However, this season, it's a lot different. If our pitching and hitting is on, nobody will beat us.
Let's see we lead in HR's, stolen bases, best ERA since July, Phil Hughes and Rivera have given up 3 runs combined since July. Yeah, I feel pretty good. The Red Sux should be worrying more about the Angels than us.

Not really. You do pay the big bucks, and offesively you are a good team (further enhanced by the questionable design of the new ballpark.) However, if CC shows his usual self in the playoffs, I wouldn't be as optimistic as you are. AJ doesn't really scare me, and neither does Joba... we're importing those special flies that they have in Cleveland for him.
And we're also arranging for his mom to be released from jail so she can see the ALDS.

I rarely care about the SB stats, but I know Dreamboat has 66 himself this season... not too bad, more than half of your whole team.
