My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
In this case, it is laughable, but there have been real-life cases where some of our beloved Bimmers have complete central lock failure and nothing happens even when you pull on the handle. I have read that some people were able to escape through the sunroof or simply drove themselves to the dealer to get rescued.

A guy I work with got locked in his 545i. He tried everything to get out. The windows would not roll down or anything. BMW sent someone out and they had to break the window to get him out.
