You fellow 80's fans might want to check out new UK artist "La Roux". It's a duo highly influenced by early Depeche Mode (Vince Clarke era). Look on youtube for "In for the kill", "bullet proof (or maybe it's bulletproof?)". If you're a 99% mp3 listener (rather than listening to the radio) they might have not hit your radar yet. Even their videos are 80's style.

Damn, thought I could go to bed, but now with this list I feel the need to rummage further through my 80's stash.

If you dig music (Dance music) then you must know of the Winter Music Conference in South Beach - I used to go every year for a few years back in mid-late 90's...

Duran Duran was probably my favorite pop band of the 80s...arguably THE BEST band of that decade.
Around '85 though I started listening to New Wave. It was a relatively new type of music mostly listened to by Vietnamese/Chinese and all the artists were from Europe. One of the most popular group was Modern Talking. Some other favorites include CC Catch, Bad Boys Blue and Joy.

A guilty pleasure indeed! Definitely a band (and some hairstyles) that epitomized the 80's!
