When in Rome, Modern English, Industry, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Boy George and Culture Club, OMD, Madness, Soft Cell, Fra Lippo Lippi, Duran Duran, A-ha, Starship, The Smiths, The Church, Aztec Camera, The Replacements, The Icicle Works, China Crisis, Billy Idol, Billy Joel, Psychedelic Furs etc....

mostly one hit wonders!

There are a couple that stand out there, like they don't belong (Billy Joel and Starship .... they're from the wrong country ...

Saw Duran Duran live in 1983 - it was the only concert I ever passed out at. We were right at the front (me with my dyed-blonde hair) and the crush was incredible. Apparently I passed out and was dragged out of the crowd and woke up in a first-aid room of some kind. I don't remember any of this, it's what people tell me happened

Best concert of the 80's I hear you ask? Easy. Knebworth 1986, there were 125,000 people there. Headlining were Queen, Status Quo, Big Country and Belouis Some.
