Count me in as a fellow DM fan, MP. Been a fan since 1981, seen them live and I've got every single track they've ever released.
In fact, I probably shouldn't admit this, but I've got a crazy amount of 80's music in my iTunes library.

Thank goodness for iTunes & MP3's - our favorite songs will always be one click away...

I have all the songs you posted so far on my iTunes Phil.
Like Rex, there aren't too many songs from that decade that I don't know of either.
Steve, we should compare playlists and share.

I was just taking a look at the 3 CD 80's mix I did for a New Year's party a couple of years ago!
Some blasts from the past in there... Amongst many:
The Cure, Culture Club, Heaven 17, ABC, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Cameo, Grandmaster Flash, Swing Out Sister, Soft Cell, The Thompson Twins, OMD, Yazz, Erasure, Rick Astley, Chaka Kahn, Bananarama, Dead Or Alive, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Visage, Japan, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, Orange Juice...
And others even more embarrassing than those in the list above.
Great days!

Duran Duran was probably my favorite pop band of the 80s...arguably THE BEST band of that decade.
Around '85 though I started listening to New Wave. It was a relatively new type of music mostly listened to by Vietnamese/Chinese and all the artists were from Europe. One of the most popular group was Modern Talking. Some other favorites include CC Catch, Bad Boys Blue and Joy.
