Hmmm.... As one poster pointed out, giving a gift to a client is a bit tricky--too expensive a gift might make him think that you're making too much from him... The point is to show appreciation for one's continued business but it could backfire.
Perhaps maybe giving a gift is not a good option -- what about taking him out to play golf, invite him to an event, etc...?
