Hahaha! Why!!?!??
My age ... now closer to 100 than 50,
politics of our times,
don't drive much anymore,
Mrs. six now primary driver of our Bimmer, she drives it to get her hair done one week and her nails done the next, so the car should last longer,
Meanwhile, my MINI shakes the bjesus out of my bones.

Range is a super SUV, if you get it under warranty, from what I understand. I was just busting your chops there. That said, I'm sure you've heard some complaints about reliability. Although the newer ones seem to be getting better.

Several factors:

don't drive much anymore,

When I move back to Minnesota, i'll most likely look into something AWD, or Front wheel at least.
Wouldn't mind picking up a 550xi, or a X5-with xdrive.

Good health and fortunes permitting - I plan on keeping my E60 for a few more years. Then I'll take a real hard look at the following:
BMW F10 550i
BMW F10 M5
Caddy CTS-V
If I had to choose between the different types of FI, I'd always favor an S/C over a Turbo. Right now BMW needs to address some component issues (HPFP) that are making themselves look bad. If they can get their act together and the Caddy continues to hold its own I could go either way.

If you were to change your car now or in the near future, what would (or could) be your next ride?
Think it rationally, so no dream cars, but the ones that you could afford...
My next car could be the Mercedes-Benz C-class, Audi A5 coupe or maybe the 3-series coupe.
If I had the money, the new 5-series or the new Audi A5 sportback.

Oh wow, I had always assumed Xdrive was available on all 5ers. I'd hate to step down from a V8. If only the E92 M3 was AWD, that would be so sick
