Bizzarely enough given the car I'd be trading in, I'm actually considering an S-Class next time around. Others on the list are the Panamera, the Quattroporte, the new Jaguar XJ and the 7 Series.

Have you seen the 0-60 times the car mags are reporting for the Panamera Turbo. 3.3 or 3.4 seconds to 60. Absolutely unbelievable. Astonishing really for a 4 door sedan with such a beautiful interior (I don't care for the exterior styling but with performance and luxury like I, wouldn't care that much).

S Class and 7 Series are great cars. I'd probably go S Class if I were going for a giant sedan but I never see myself doing that.

There is no large 4 door sedan more beautiful than the Quattroporte IMHO.

Of the cars on your list, I'd go Panamera Turbo. The damn thing has the acceleration of a 911 Turbo.

you are going bigger. As a single guy in my late 20s, I have a lot more car then I need. Besides, I have no friends, I could drive an F1 car.

I think the cayman S is on the top of my list.

Give the E92 M3 some thought...it's the PERFECT car. Everything about the car just seems "right"

Having had one on my tail in the twisties during the second Poconos meet this year, I was totally impressed with that car's performance and unflappability in the twisty stuff.

My 550i lease ends October '10. I'll want something that compliments the Z4.
The BMW short list at this time is :F10 550i, M3 4 dr, X5 4.8, & X6 5.0. I will have to drive the competition but few other cars excite me at this time. Although, the Auto show is next weekend, something else might strike my fancy.
