If you think that is something - here is one of his posts showing the greater collection - That's a whole lot o' rolex! (plus some other nice brands as well)
That's totally insane. The dude needs some therapy. Not for spending that much on watches, if you've got the money then fine, go for it.

The crazy part is that he's got so many near-identical watches. On the bottom row I see five Rolexes with silver strap and black face that to my untrained eye look like exactly the same watch.

Same thing on the top row. I count six Rolexes that look completely identical. Again with silver strap, black face only this time they've got a half-red (at the bottom) dial. I'm not hating on those watches, it's just crazy to want so many that look the same.

I did think to myself when I saw it that the content of the collection was more than a bit OCD. If I was spending that kind of bank on a watch collection, I wouldn't get so many iterations of the same watch (like the 16 Rolex Daytonas). I'd buy a sampling of all the top brands. But even if I had that kind of bank, here is what I would get: the Lamborghini Murcielago lp 670-4 Superveloce:

My father collected watches. There's probably 30+ but he did the $30 Timex watches. He also varied in style.
That guys obsession over similarly styled watches is interesting to say the least.

I like a classic styled watch re the Rolex Daytona but wouldn't spend that kind of money on a watch. Just not what I spend money on, plus I'd probably mark it up over time.
I also never cared for the little date windows. I like the new modern styles that mix analog hands with digital dates and other features. The Citizen I posted above or some Tags are what I need/want, nothing more.

PS: My watch collection is about 5-10. Most have sat for years with dead batteries. I only keep about 4 running and set. A daily dress watch, a weekend sport watch, a cheap water activities watch, and a hiking watch that I seldom wear.

Didn't anyone like any of those watches I was looking at last night? Here's the link to the post (which is on page 4 of this thread):

I only keep 2 watches. A dress watch for work (18K gold and steel Cartier Santos) and a weekend watch (BMW M watch which my wife surprised me with a few months ago -- she didn't get that I don't have a M but it was very sweet of her to get it for me).
