Member, I'm glad to see you so passionate about this election. Democracy at work, but take it elsewhere. It's enough that you force us to look at your avatar promoting your candidate on every post, but this is not a political forum. There are plenty of those available for you to express yourself. I think I now know why they added an "ignore" feature to this version of the software...I just tried it out and it works quite well.

Also, member, be appraised that you may pick up more static in this thread than you want to hear or that would be good for the welfare of your chosen candidate. Direct your enthusiasm for your candidate to the public at large with bumper stickers, yard signs, volunteer help, etc. but please leave this forum alone. We like it like it is and do not need this divisiveness.

I did not intend this to become a thread on my avatar/signature, and as such I have removed them. I already have a bumper sticker on my 545 and it is the first bumper sticker I have ever put on a car. Unfortunately, I don't live in a swing state, so it will do little good here. I will reserve any political conversations to the Lounge, since I am not the first to discuss it here and I believe in open constructive debate.
My intent was also not to offend anyone into having to "ignore"

[/quote]I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by treated like cattle. Do you mean the actual process of voting or the politics that surround it. It does suck that there are only two major parties, there are more in the UK, correct?

What I meant is that it annoys me that in the US people treat the elections as if it were a sports game.
