TV Question...Getting a new LCD HELP!!!
#1
I want to get a new LCD tv, and saw the SHARP LC26D4U Aquos 26''. Going to get the tv, but i want to know if I can plug in my XBOX 360 into it. I know there are issues w/ plugging in things like that into flat panel tvs sometimes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Haha Thanks man! But correct me if I heard wrong, but i've been told that its not good for the tv if you plug in your XBOX 360 into it...something to do w/ the pixels or something, I don't know, I've just HEARD that it can be bad...is this true?

With the LCD flat panel, you're going to get great visuals. Nothing is going to happen to the TV with the Xbox plugged in.
It looks like you're getting the LCD from Costco, b/c I think I've seen that model there before. If so, then you have nothing to worry about b/c Costco has the best warranty for electronics. If your TV ever fails just return it for another, no questions asked. That is where I got my 32" LCD for my bedroom.
I'm looking to sell my Sony 40" XBR CRT so that I can buy the 50" LCD flat panel from Costco.

Go check out the closest Costco to your house before you buy it on Amazon. I know there is a 26" LCD there for $750 but not sure what brand. It might be the 26" Aquos.

Looking at Wall Mounts too...what's the diff. between one that will cost me $150 and one that will cost me $50. I know some enable the tv to swivel, and I don't really need that. But I don't want to wake up to a tv that fell off the $50 mount...any ideas as to which is a good mount that is safe for my tv. Again, don't need any swivel or anything like that...THANKS!

I don't know about the wall mounts too much, but this I know is that the wall mounts better be supported on the stud behind the wall. If not, then your LCD will come crashing down. You may want to ask around for a professional installer, if you do not know how to find the stud behind the wall.

Don't really need bigger, its just for my room...any idea how much a professional installer would be? Thanks for that stud info, i've heard about that but it slipped my mind, def. would have had a broken "new" lcd tv laying flat on the floor...can I just talk to Best Buy or some place like that for professional installation or will they rip me off?....maybe Costco?
