extended airco with armrest
18" M5 rims with Runflats
xbox with 2 headrests LCD
front LCD video enabled
Detachable towbar
Alarm
anti-blind rearview mirror
Adaptive Xenon
Bluetooth carkit
Garage door opener integrated
Headlight cleaning system
Seat heating front
Here is the complete photo manual:
What I used for installing my entertainment system:
1 Second hand Xbox 70 euro
1 modchip xecuter 2.3 lite 25 euro
1 ide harddisk 120 GByte 70 euro
1 converter 12v-220 volts 50 euro
2 philips lcd-screens (proto-types) not available for non- car manufactures sorry
1 e60- video-in - interface 300 euro
2 xbox controller extention cables 15 euro
1 FM modulator 25 euro
1 old audio amplifier for headphones
25 meters of video cable 75 ohm
30 meters of power cable
25 meters o audio cable
5 meters 4 wire cable
Total costs around: 600 euro ( 700USD)
and around 20 hours of labour
Because I got the dispays through my work , I started to create my own rear seat entertainment system.
The displays I used are normally sold to car manufacturers, at my work we were developing a navigation system for cars, and we used these displays as samples. After the project stopped I could buy them for 10 euros.
The displays were without any mouning rack, so I had to create me a own mounting rack from stainless steel

And these are the headrests:

and this is the panel under the headrest, I installed a fuse and a switch to switch the display on or off

After installing the headrests and the cables from the lcd, I guide all the cables from the headrests trough the seats, carpet to the boot of the car.

This is the place where I mounted my xbox.

There are already two screw-holes where you can mount your xbox on.
The audio of the xbox goes to a fm-modulator (situated behind the radio with smb connector)

for the idrive lcd, I used a interface module from euro-navi-systems:

for orders mail this guy:
don't try to call because their english is very very bad, but if you mail them, the english is good
Name: Kim, Mi-Ri
euronavisystem@kornet.net
Just ask for the "E60 interface module"
http://euronavi.co.kr/
Price of one unit is 300 USD he ships world-wide. The quality is very good of this interface, its housing is in aluminium, so there is no interferance, you will recieve a remote control with the unit
This is the result of the interface:

and this is the infra-red reciever, mounted invisible (take a good look in one of the openings):

for controlling the xbox, and for power the xbox on while driving, I extended the power button, headphones and two controllers to the center console for the rear passengers:

please let me know what you think of this...

WOW
The interface unit remote control is exactly the one the I bought from NavwithTV. Same hold true for the i-Drive screen message. $199 for this unit is a really good deal. I wish I know this one before.
Anyhow, it looks good!

Hello?
I did an announcement in the parts forum some weeks ago with a collected bying. For exactly this item. No one was interested.
But I was unlucky; I?ve had 3 interface, none of them worked in my car, other 8 ones for the other forum members worked well.
Hope to get some new ones. Prizing incl. shipping to germany was about 230 Euro (incl. douane)
