My Ride: 2004 545i, Sport and Premium package, Titanium Silver with Black Dakota Leather interior
I was looking for a video of Taps to post as a sarcastic thread to signify the death of E60 as most of us have come to know it.
I wanted to avoid all military versions of Taps because I did not want to compare the death of a virtual community to the horrific reality of the death of a soldier.
In the process... I may have found the most beautiful version of Taps that I have ever heard. I'm speechless

My Ride: 08 550 Carbon Sport Almost everything factory, but no sound upgrades.
Why so many eulogies? Many of the ex E?s live on. I know mine will despite what they come up with to replace it.
Of all the cars I have owned I can?t think of one updated model I liked better than mine.

Hopefully not to high jack Roger's post ...
Here is an equally remarkable rendition of Taps.
Called Silver Taps, it is a 100 year tradition at Texas A&M. It is done the first Tuesday of a month following the death of an Aggie.
I believe they do it at night from the roof of an A&M building.
