Maybe someone can send them an e-mail and tell them that we exist. This is a real enthusiasts board and may change bashers idea about the new way BMW is going.
*raises hand* i must admit... I seriously hated the hard edges found all over the 5er when it first came out..and from my experience playing with at 7er's I-Drive.. i concluded that it was useless... and to top it off.. I kept seeing the similaritie between the Subaru-esque rear lights..and Accord-like front.. but as the design grew on me.... guess what put me over the edge and wanna buy it??

a test drive... once you're on the inside of these babies.... it all begins to make sense..the exterior design... interior-set up...... all pushing the barrier just a little bit of car design..... and most importantly the silky smooth engine..........

I mean.. I'm not a bangle fan.. but i dont hate his designs with a vengance as some seem to..... i think he really does push the envelope a bit further ... and those that can handle it... are really on the cutting edge......it's about evolution.... not the status quo in the car game..............

We have to remember that, yes i fact Chris Bangle designed the car(s) but it is up to the Vorschadt(sp?, Iceman), the BMW advisory board, to decide which design gets the green light. So for people that don't like the design they should really be upset with the advisory board.

I joined several months ago and I really enjoy reading Roundel. I don't have my E60 yet but I anticipate getting that $1000 rebate when I do .

I'm sure you know that you have to be a member for at least one year before being eligible for the rebate -- did you order a car yet?
