My Ride: BMW E60 530i
Actually, in Australia it's usually the Holden drivers who are quite notorious of bad driving and manners.
And out of BMW drivers, the stereotype of an aggressive BMW drivers are pointed usually at a 10 year old 3 Series drivers - students.
I do admit though that there have been a few modified Mitsubshi Lancers and Holdens drivers who cut me off after I changed from a LandCruiser to a 5 Series... but I didn't think it was because my car was a BMW? Probably because my car is now a much smaller car compared to a LandCruiser.

Someone said it was because of jealousy over the BMW prestige badge.
I don?t think BMW?s are particularly prestigious anymore, in my view they are the modern equivalent of the ?average Ford?. In fact I think the 3 series outsells the equivalent Ford in its size / class.
The combination of good handling and good engines probably means they are driven more aggressively and therefore annoy other motorists more.

You can get a used 3 series 06-07 NON CPO for around $19k. Which is not much these days.
