Two words: jealously and envy. That's why lots of other drivers treat BMWs rudely on the road. I can only imagine what the drivers of Ferraris and Lambos go through when they drive.

I try to drive normal and everyone acts like jackasses around me it seems. Maybe it wasn't good getting such a sexy car. I have people tailgating me all the time, cutting me off, giving me the finger, almost been run off the highway by some truck, ricers fly by me. You name it. hahaha Never had the problem in my maxima.

I generally let poor behavior by other drivers roll off my back and ignore it. But there is no doubt that I've seen much poorer behavior toward my 550i Sport than towards my Infiniti M45. I think that it's jealousy and evny which is further compounded by the crappy economy.
One's own conduct is usually the precipitator of the hostile treatment IMHO.
