Remember, we're all just playing around here - real images aren't supposed to look like this. Photoshop should be more featherduster and less sledgehammer.

I agree. Even HDR pics are intended to make the picture more like real life, not some over saturated art.
PS: I'm not saying I don't like HDR pics, its just that some go overboard.

Filter > Blur > Radial Blur > Zoom.

Adjust levels to bring contrast to your images.

this images looks awkward with wheels still and the "sharp halo" around the car.
suggestion: digitally spin the wheels + create a tighter mask around the car.

I did it in like 5 minutes sheesh.

Of course I couldve used the pen tool to mask the car to give it a cleaner look... but was too lazy.

I used to shoot and photoshop cars all day here: http://www.evoximages.com/

we've found that with masking cars, the brush tool with the shift key works the fastest. i can mask a car in about 2 minutes.
