And how exactly are the others going to outrun the police radio???
1. Get off the road and take another.

2. Stop for a long meal.

Wow, I'm shocked that everyone pulled over. I do not pull over unless a police car gets right behind me and tells me to pull over. Otherwise, by pulling over without being told to, it's an unnecessary admission of guilt and an unnecessary ticket. Most police will not go chasing the one of two cars from a big line that do not pull over because they are already busy writing tickets.
I am not shocked they pulled over. why make things worse? it is very easy to radio down the road. eventually you will get pulled over, and you may even get arrested for evading.

Exactly. A $600 ticket is nothing to these guys but a night in jail and a confiscated car would be a big deal. That's the penalty for street racing in NC.

That is classic! We've heard all the escape stories, all ending with a special set of bracelets. Can't outrun the radio or the helicopter. Nice nab. I once got two porsche's at 2AM. We were the only ones on the road. I guess the thrill is seeing if you'll get caught.

I am sure there are people at the right place/right time that were able to outrun police. I am a thrill seeker, but I dont think gambling my freedom and self respect is worth it. one time when i was younger, my friend and i passed a cop on our bikes doing about 130-140. i looked back and he didnt even turn around. had he come after us, i know i could have easily gotten away by getting off the next exit and hiding but my morals would force me to pull over. Part of knowingly breaking the law is accepting consequences for your actions. If i get pulled over in my car, i dont argue. I have a spedometer. I know I was speeding, if i didnt realize it that too is my fault for being complacent.

i am just re-affirming once again my belief that they were right for pulling over.
