Wow, I'm shocked that everyone pulled over. I do not pull over unless a police car gets right behind me and tells me to pull over. Otherwise, by pulling over without being told to, it's an unnecessary admission of guilt and an unnecessary ticket. Most police will not go chasing the one of two cars from a big line that do not pull over because they are already busy writing tickets.

Exactly. A $600 ticket is nothing to these guys but a night in jail and a confiscated car would be a big deal. That's the penalty for street racing in NC.

That is classic! We've heard all the escape stories, all ending with a special set of bracelets. Can't outrun the radio or the helicopter. Nice nab. I once got two porsche's at 2AM. We were the only ones on the road. 
I guess the thrill is seeing if you'll get caught.
