It depends on your personal Belief and maybe some countries they feel that numbers have effect in their lives, so yeah maybe you can call it your own passion for numbers as in THAILAND we have got many pplz crazy for the number plates such as 9 or 99 / 999 / 9999 or similar numbers like these and numbers are getting auctioned at even 30,000 US$ for 9999

Delaware has number only plates and it is a status symbol if you have a low digit.
In fact there was a scandal years ago when government officials were taking bribes to recycle low numbers and sell them off to their friends or highest bidder.
