For those of us who live in New Jersey, this is no great surprise. How else can they explain why the state is so broke while having one of the highest tax bases in the United States. Almost nothing gets done in this state without "paying to play." It's sad, really sad.

Unfortunately, New Jersey has a long and tawdry history of political corruption. Busting corrupt politicians is what has put former US Attorney Christopher Christie in a position to be a strong challenger to Governor Corzine this fall.
