No.
I have been the equipment manager with the Frankfurt Galaxy (NFL Europe) 1997-2003.
In 1999 Jake was our QB, great guy!
Had to quit after the 2003 season with my second ring. Still miss it... But it never has been such fun as it was in 1999 with Jake and Pat (Barnes).

Ice--that's awesome. Glad to hear Jake is a quality guy from someone who knows him. Sounds like a great experience for you. We'll be counting on your cheers this weekend for the Panthers!

Yep. He's a real team leader. He works hard, has fun and he cares about the guys in his team. He's not just doing his thing.
I placed a bet on the Panthers for this week (now that I'm not employed by the NFL anymore I finally am allowed to do so ). Last week I had all four games right.

Off to Denver next week...

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

realtyman, jtxc, and the rest of the Patriots fans, bummer about what the Broncos did to you guys last night. Now you guys have no excuse but to root for the Steelers!

Sorry...although I know you miss the mug shots, the current avatar will remain as is until we win the Super Bowl in a few weeks!

I'm sure you understand...

More congrats Rudy. The Steelers played a flawless first half -- Big Ben was the better quarterback on the field. Beating the Broncos in Denver should be easy compared to the Indy game. Winning the Super Bowl against Carolina will be tough but definitely possible. The hardest game is over.

Thanks for the congrats CR and Duckman...

Last year, we were the number one seed, we rested guys, had a bye, etc. and I swear it hurt us more than it helped us -- not to mention that Big Ben was a rookie last year.

I think the Colts took way too long to shake the rust off from their long rest and I think the Steelers, being the underdogs this year and coming off a huge, 5-game winning streak made us play with much more determination.

Ben sure looked great out there today. Sure, we did our best at the end to give up the win but it all worked out for us when it mattered.

Did anyone else think the officiating was horrendous today? That interception + fumble + recovery by Troy Polamalu that was reversed was just stupid...

CR, it's too bad we're going to beat the Broncos next week. It's time for the Steelers to knock off the "best team that nobody is talking about"...

Congrats rudy
Go Steelers

Sure was a tight game though - they nearly threw it away ..... literaly !!!!!!! The game should have been dead and buried though.

Some absolutely unbelievable decisions - still the Steelers won through in the end.

I must say they look well balanced squad (offensively/defensively) and adaptable to whichever way the games go at present. .......... At least from my armchair anyway

their Away form is good of late too.......... Broncos beware!!!!!

QB Roethlisberger reminds me of J Elway in the way he plays.
