Good luck Steelers.
Hope you meet the PANTHERS in the Super Bowl!

Would like the Steelers to win, but want my friend Jake to win too...

I guess a personal friendship means more in this case...

I don't know him but Jake seems like such a good guy. He's always approachable for kids when he's around town. Steve Smith is the same way---I've run into him several times and watched him interact with people. He's a bit on the shy side but not a prima donna at all.
Here's to a fun, exciting and victorious weekend!
Though next weekend should be better: the NFC Championship game (if we're in it) plus I pick up my car on FRIDAY!!! I'm dying to drive this thing.

It's going to be "da Bears" and Patriots in the Superbowl, a rematch of Superbowl XX when da Bears trounced (annihilated) the Patriots!!

Jake is a very good guy. I have not met a player like him. I have some very good memories on our 1999 championship season. God, we had some fun, it was unreal. The team chemistry has never been as good since then.

I have been the equipment manager with the Frankfurt Galaxy (NFL Europe) 1997-2003.
In 1999 Jake was our QB, great guy!
Had to quit after the 2003 season with my second ring. Still miss it... But it never has been such fun as it was in 1999 with Jake and Pat (Barnes).

Hey Miller! Good to see you around the forums again. I don't think I've seen you around in quite some time...
Glad to see you're getting your CWP money's worth -- hey, now you're way closer to the 'burgh, maybe you'll get to a Steeler or Bucs game now!
Go Steelers!

Sure Iceman... you miss soaking those jerseys in water for hrs on end... I remember the stories!!!
Oh yeah... Panthers will see the Steelers in the Superbowl, nothing I'd rather see than Peyton brought down to earth this weekend.
Go Panthers!
