At least you can be happy that the whole country gets to see you guys on Thanksgiving!
There has been rumors of taking away their Thanksgiving game. They've been so uncompetitive for so long. I think that's why the NFL added the third game on thanksgiving. Go Loins.

Yessireee....

I'm a bit worried that Troy Polamalu will be out for an extended period. I think it's his knee... It's a bummer because it seemed like tonight he was finally back to "himself" after a couple of seasons of less than "himself" following an injury he had a couple years ago.

Speaking of the Steelers, I just found this short (one minute) video from one of the local newspapers that sort of sums up the sport of professional football in the Pittsburgh region.

I'll bet many of you weren't aware of all the football greats (non Steelers) that were from the Pittsburgh area...

Why? what's up......thought they were a good team?
The Panther defense seems to have holes all over the place this year, with only a few lost players too. Either that or they are holding back and purposely didn't show the preseason opponents anything.

The offense can be OK if certain players stay healthy.

I watched that entire game and i have never seen a player lunge at more opposing players knees, and pick up multiple personal fouls in a matter of mins.

Wasnt it Carson Palmer's knee that was destroyed playing the Steelers?

that would be tough to do in a 16 game season.

Yeah, Polamalu is as dirty as they get... I guess that's why he's been in the last 5 pro-bowls, etc. Troy is considered by many as one best Safeties in the game -- you don't get those accolades by playing dirty. When you go for a guy's legs and are pretty much in mid air, sometimes knees get in the way. Incidentally, Troy is really a soft-spoken, gentle, highly religious person who is not motivated by dirty play, he's a true athlete.

Since you brought it up, the Carson Palmer injury was also not from a dirty hit (and did not come from Troy Polamalu). In fact, the Palmer injury back in 2005 (or 2006) happend pretty much the same way as the Polamalu injury last week. Neither hit was dirty, it's just an unfortunate by product of a violent game. When Kimo von Oelhoffen hurt Palmer's knee, he stood there and apologized to him. Again, Kimo is one of those "gentle giants" who, regardless of his size, is the kind of guy who does not want to injure anyone. (Ironically, Kimo was a Bengal in the mid to late '90s.)
