I have to disagree. The best back in football was Craig Patterson. We played together on our high school team. His father was an Anheuser Busch product distributor and we always were able to spirit away large quantities of beer from his garage undetected. Everybody loved Craig.
Never met him, but I suspect Craig and I would have gotten along well!

Im a younger person so when i think of the best back...1 name comes to mind. Barry Sanders was by far the most talented back ive ever seen run. The way he cut on a dime was amazing. In my opinion LT isnt even top 5. His numbers might say otherwise but numbers dont always tell the story.
