I'm with ya'!! It has been a great year but I admit the last 5-6 weeks have been frusrtrating to watch. Especially the offensive struggles. Expectations for the defense were never that high so their play is not totally surprising. Hopefully they get it figured out for the playoffs and get back on track.

I don't agree, it has been the defense that has made the biggest difference this year. With Brees and those weapons the offense WILL put up some points, but Sharper is playing out of his mind this season. If the defense can keep them in the game I see no reason why the Saints can't be playing in February.

To clarify, what I meant was that pre-season expectations were not high for the defense. I didn't say they had not played well in the early part of the season. But that has trailed off. The secondary has been hit with a lot of injuries so giving up the passing offense is understandable. The D line which had been solid against the run has not shown up the last six games and there have not been the injuries to fall back on as an excuse. Same for the offense, no injuries, just not performing lately. But they'll get it together!!
oh ya. did everyone see benson's reaction at the end of regulation vs tampa? that was the funniest thing he has done since he went after reporters after a game in lsu's tiger stadium.

All this talk about a fading Saints team and an overhyped Viking quest...when we all know the Chargers are takin it all the way and bringin the heat! Colts will fall short against the Chargers in the AFC championship... RIVERS for MVP! Yeah that's right... I said it!

Sadly, thanks to Jamrcus Russell the Steelers will miss the playoffs. They had a good run, they will be back. There are some that said Big Ben wasn't a good QB, let's take a look at the facts:

Regular season is officially over. Chargers finish off strong with the longest active winning streak (11). Feeling confident going into the playoffs! Yeahhhhh buddyyyyyy!!!!
