Sounds like some fun and friendly runs. Just curious how fast Joe was passing you at 110; I mean did you guys go faster than that and if so, to what speed and how many car lengths did he put on you?
MacFly, is that the owner of the white M5 wiping his wheels? If so, that's StreetKing on M5board and that guy has an amazing collection of cars (M5, GTR, ZR1, F430, Supra, to name a few).
Tom, how about the Neez QD7 instead of the HRE Monobloks? The QD7s are better looking and lighter. Or how about the new B9 Technic wheel from WheelExperts? 20" and barely 20lbs.

He passed me at 110-120 and we had to shut it down right away due to lack of roads. But he was blowing by me once he caught up.
+1 on the NEEZ!

ECF- I looked at Neez QD7. They have 1 set left at $6800 plus shipping.
The offset was ET20 all around i'm afraid i might need spacers for the front
which i didn't want.
Dbae- P40 Glossy Charcoal. Liked the P43 but think the spokes are too thin!

It's not. I raced poleposition(550), gregg2gs(550) and bimmer722(545) last summer at our "Airport Runway Runs" and it wasn't even close from start to finish. This was a true test, since there was no other traffic around, we were not on a public road and we had 2 miles of open, STRAIGHT road, in front of us. This might as well have been an open 2 mile drag strip.
Sure, at the high end I gained my distance, but right from the get-go I was already in front and just kept gaining. It was never close, even in the beginning.
